Check Internet Plan Availability
Maybe you have (or had) cable TV in Toronto, Mississauga, GTA, Ontario, or Vancouver, Montreal, Winnipeg. Maybe you are wondering if there is a cheaper alternative to monthly cable TV costs? Well, back in the days before cable TV, people used to watch TV by using an antenna, which usually meant the rabbit ears on their TV, or a TV antenna on the side or roof of their home.
Later cable TV came along, and people signed up. They forgot about over the air TV, and antennas, etc. Then the type of TV signal that was broadcast over the air, changed form analogue to digital. Over time cable TV seems to have gotten more expensive, and perhaps the selection of shows is not as god as it once seemed to be?
If you live in Canada, but near the US border (for example in Toronto, Mississauga, or the GTA, or Vancouver), especially near a large American city, then you should be able to receive some (or many) American TV channels, for free, over the air (OTA). This might be a great alternative to paying the monthly cable TV bill. It is certainly something worth looking into.
